Quadrado do Espírito é uma proposta que reúne gravuras, serigrafias, vídeos e instalação, com inspiração nos trabalhos do alquimista Giordano Bruno. A série de monotipias foi criada em 2007, quando Yara Baungarten iniciou seu trabalho em ateliês de gravura em metal. A exposição inclui também serigrafias em tecido em grande formato e vídeos com animações de detalhes das gravuras, com trilha sonora do músico e terapeuta argentino Daniel Namkhay e edição do jornalista e escritor Rodrigo dMart. Estas edições são apresentadas numa instalação interativa, intitulada “Videotipia do Espírito”.

“Square of the Spirit” is a proposal that combines engravings, serigraphs, and video installation, inspired by the work of the alchemist Giordano Bruno. The series of monotypes was started in 2007 when Yara Baungarten began her work in engraving workshops. The exhibit also includes screenprints on fabric and videos with animations of images’s details, with soundtrack by musician and therapist argentine Daniel Namkhay and editing of the journalist and writer Rodrigo dMart. These videoarts are presented in an interactive installation entitled “Videotypes of the Spirit“.
